Salaries:

Bruce Schwab: Salary from start of program 9/1999 to finish 2002/2003 Around Alone, including need PR time after finish of Around Alone approximately 6/2003 at 2.75/yrs. x $150,000/yr: $413,000

Salary for Bruce Schwab includes overseeing of design concept, construction and rigging of Wocket. Mr. Schwab will be available at all reasonable times with the Wocket (in-between races and training/qualifying sails) for the purpose of PR at times deemed appropriate by title sponsor. Mr. Schwab will be available at all layovers and will work full time (allowing for reasonable recovery periods after races) to ensure the quality of preparation and equipment for the purpose of winning these races.

Mr. Schwab will utilize to the best of his abilities, all communication systems aboard the yacht to provide the race organizers, the media, and sponsors full updates, video feeds and emails. Every reasonable effort to meet these needs will be made. The understanding will be however, the priority of the program is the best possible finishing result in the races, certain weather conditions may delay or interrupt transmissions.

A performance incentive is asked for Mr. Schwab, in the case of a first place finish in either the Vendee Globe 2000 or the 2002/2003 Around Alone. In this case, Mr. Schwab would be granted ownership (estimated resale value $400,000) of the "Wylie Wocket" at the conclusion of the 2002/2003 Around Alone.
