Joe Martin visited with us in Cabo San Lucas. Enjoyed good snorkeling and night life in town. |
Jan 5 - 9 |
Linger in Cabo San Lucas, waiting for gusting winds to die down, Temperatures are unusually cool. Day times high 70 degrees. |
| Jan 10 | Motor/sail north about eight hours to Los Frailles. Catch another Mahi-mahi. |
| Jan 11 | Discover gallons of water under the v-berth. Work most of the day trying to find the plugged bilge. |
| Jan 12 | Row to shore and explore the beach area of Los Frailles. See a Manta Ray jump, flip and summersault at least 25 times! |
| Jan 13 - 14 | Sail 30 hours across the gulf of California (sea of Cortez) to Mazatlan. A grey fin back whale crosses our bow about 50 feet away. |
| Jan 14 - Feb 11 | Linger in Mazatlan, docked at El Cid Marina. |
| Jan 17 - 24 | Rod's brother Bruce and his wife Kathy visit. |
| Jan 29 | Steve and Michelle arrive. Good snorkeling is non-existent. Temperatures are 70 to 75 degrees. Exploring the city is interesting. |
